      Pros

      Professional integrity is, in my opinion, Virtusa's strong point. There's very little office politics and management seems to genuinely value its "PIRL" principles - Pursuit of excellence, Integrity, Respect and Leadership. In general, Virtusa seems to be people focused. It has good infrastructure and sensible IT policies.

      Cons

      Virtusa has a lot to improve on the quality of talent that it seems to be able to attract and retain. Delivery pressures seem to frequently cause the company to compromise on hiring quality. While this is admittedly a hard problem to solve, I am certain that focussed guidance from senior management can do a lot to remedy this.

      Pros

      Large corporate clients, opportunities to work on new technologies, travel opportunities and global exposure. Well known brand name also helps secure work after.

      Cons

      Its becoming a large organization therefore too much bureaucracy. Drastically changing company culture that went from a startup feel to a typical policed corporate machine was quite disturbing. The middle management, hired out of other organisations that had very different standards and styles contributed towards to a high attrition rate. The quality of the employees have been dropping quite drastically recently. The company needs to address this otherwise it will be difficult to retain its better employees.
