Pros

If you are a hard working honest professional, this is the company for you. Lots of BI and Analytics learning plus offshore support in learning new skills. Management keeps their words. Compensation and growth is good They give you free hand to learn and help your client succeed. They don’t micro-manage which in turn empowers employees to outbox thinking rather spoon feeding in the big IT companies.

Cons

Company needs to showcase its strength in the market especially when they have so many skilled folks

Pathetic Sr. Management / Doesn't Value Employees

Pros

They hire / attract employees with fancy designations... But convince you to join for almost the same salary that you're earning with prior organization.

Cons

No proper salary increments. Many employees left the organization even after revising the salary as-per so called Market Standards on 2016. (around 60%) Recently hired Sr. Management doesnt show any value for employees. All of them doesn't have core business knowledge or people management skills. They simply Talk.. Talk.. Talk.. on conf calls, meetings just to show their presence. Cost Cutting is their mantra. They dont even change the hand dryer at rest rooms & blame the employees for misusage. (Funny) On recent BCP situation, 60 employees have been asked to travel from Coimbatore to Bangalore office. They have been asked to sleep on the floor with bedsheets. I have been referred thru an Hiring Consultancy. HR gave me the offer letter & asked me inform the consultancy that i'm not hired with Visionet. Surprisingly, Later i got to know that they did this to benefit the referral allowance internally. Sr. Management who was behind me to join Visionet, wherein they called me so many times confirming my joining date... But, they never bothered when i wanted to resign. I didnt get a proper response on my relieving date after multiple follow-ups.

Job Insecurity

Pros

Only pros I can talk about is the new office space. Even though the location is quite congested by traffic, infrastructure is good.

Cons

There are lot of fear about job security. As an experienced employee I feel that the new management doesn't understand the value of the experienced employees. We worked hard and supported this company for last years. Volume is low for last few months and I got a negative rating as my productivity is low. What can I do when the orders are low. I don't get enough orders to process. Passing the buck is the dirty politics played in the office. Managers are also feeling the threat. There is no unity in HR team. Transport was committed and not yet provided. Many of my colleagues are looking out for an opportunity.

The new management initiated service awards to recognize and appreciate Tenured employees contribution in 2016, so we fail to understand how can the experienced employees feel insecure about their job. As far as the rating is concerned, we have still not completed the appraisal process. We are a performance driven organization where the performance directly impacts the overall assessment. The semiannual employee engagement survey had already started before you posted this review. Also, we have been conducting Quarterly Town halls with the management team and monthly sessions with the HR. Moreover, we have an open door culture where your issues can be highlighted to the senior most member of your department or HR Team. We have already taken inputs from all the employees on the Transport requirement and during the Townhall session timeline for implementation has been shared. We would still want to thank you for your feedback. Regards, VSPL HR Team
