Pros

We have critically important work and many positive, inspiring colleagues at the manager level and on the front lines. We also have a lot of potential to do things differently and make a lasting effect on the healthcare community.

Cons

The company is undisciplined in its strategy, unrealistic in it's approach to change and work load and there is quite a bit of favoritism and mistrust going on.

Pros

Coworkers, helping the community and getting to know the friendly donors. Used as a foot in the door for hospital career. Great if you have no home life, for singles.

Cons

Used as a foot in the door for hospital career, too many turn overs. OT guaranteed on the front line with mobile donor drives. No schedule = unbalanced family life at home. Busy mobiles always feel like a mental challenge with your flight or fight response, and it builds up over time, if you can't find a release. Needed therapy. Observed 3 coworkers let go before less than a year before retirement. Very sad state.
