Pros

Where do I begin with the pros of working for Vitalant. Staff care about you and the pay is good. 401K. Great PTO benefits. Raises depending on performance and sometimes even bonuses.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like you need to be with the right crowd to be able to move up with the company. If you don't stick to the "STAR Method" you won't even be considered as a candidate for a higher roll no matter how hard you work. I have applied for a higher position 4-5 times and even with tremendous growth I still won't be looked at as a potential candidate.

Pay range for work expectations.

Cons

Lack of support from upper management. Lack of appreciation and recognition of goals that are meet. ( once goals are acheived staff is counciled on how proformace could improve and goals are set higher ) Lack of opportunities to advance in company. Poor staffing that leads to burn out and poor customer service. Upper management disregards employees needs. Work like balance is only for upper management who are dismissive and deconeccted from hourly employees.
