You are tied to your state of the art equipment. Literally. A head set connects you to the computer and keeps you from moving. You are sitting for 8 hrs minus two small 15-minute breaks and a half hr lunch, which is barely enough time to choke down a sandwich before your day continues on. Training videos explain how constant sitting is hard on the body and an employee "should" stretch from time to time; however Vitalant doesn't work flexibility time into the schedule. They constantly want you to lessen personal time used because that wasted time could be spent making appointments and therefore saving lives. For example, the company suggests you read company email by coming to work five minutes early. (As opposed to giving you five minutes during the day to read the email they send) -low pay

Bad schedules, the company doesn’t listen to its employees, they will work you to death, they do not hire people that are nationally certified or even trained in phlebotomy, the not one supervisor is nationally certified in phlebotomy so none of them should be training new people. unorganized, their fleet of cars are horrible, smell and are not taken care at all. They lie about wages in the interviews and make you work in different states that pay more than You're getting paid.
