      Great coworkers and team players, for the most part.

      Cons

      Management, giant bullies Management only care about making their numbers. They don't care about how the front line workers deal with work every single day. I have never worked for a company that belittle their employees in a daily basis.

      Pros

      Good benefits, it's nice to know were saving lives.

      Cons

      Will change your schedule completely 2 days before you need to work then expect you to be on an overnight blood drive, doesnt care about your work and personal life boundries, you need to request time off at least 1 month in advance, if you disagree with corporate you are accused of "not seeing the mission", they will overwork employees, the hours they expect us to work are ridiculous.

      Pros

      Wonderful job working with both staff, donors, and blood recipients. Great opportunity to be creative, work on events, write and interact with the local media and feel that you made a difference in the world.

      Cons

      Bought out by a large corp that didn't see value in paying to keep talent.
