      APX is a good place to work with good people while going through school

      Pros

      APX has been a good job while going through school. They have been very flexible in giving time off and working with my school schedule. Management has been good and seem to be concerned about my needs. I have also made many friends while I have worked there. It is a good place to meet other students.

      Cons

      One of the downsides to APX is that they are sales oriented company. This can be good and bad. Their employment is good because they have a strong sales force. The downside is that it is more difficult to get recognized if you are not in sales.

      Pros

      'Free' food and drinks. Most executives and managers are polite and respectful.

      Cons

      Mans World. 95% of management is male. Being an assertive, intelligent female will not do you any favors unless in HR maybe. No 401K match.

      Pros

      The company is passionate about their customers and therefore their employees. It's obvious from day one that they want to make a difference in the lives of those they serve.

      Cons

      A lot of changes in management, meant a lot of disruption in day to workflow. For example, in May we were on one path focused on a certain goal, by December that had changed.
