Pros

Great company that sincerely tries to recognize employees and value their contributions. Good benefits, fun environment, lots of perks.

Cons

Lots of turnover... by the time I quit (because I had a baby and decided not to work anymore) almost everybody who was involved in hiring and training me had been fired. Multiple managers and supervisors.

Pros

You will grow into a good salesman. It's basic sales training and will help you in life.

Cons

It's all on you. Cold calling (knocking doors) is difficult and best for the motivated.

Pros

Backend check forces you to save money for "rainy day." If your Lead Tech likes you and you perform well you will have an opportunity to be the Lead Tech of an office. You get to see different cities each summer. You will get a notification if a security system you install saves someone's life (i.e. medical pendant) or from a break-in. The products used are generally high quality.

Cons

Any culture that allows people to be hired with no formal screening process worries me. I've seen sales reps and technicians alike that have no business working for this company, let alone stepping into customers' homes and installing equipment meant to protect their house and family. Sales reps often use misleading tactics, target the elderly, etc. because every day is started with stating a goal number of sales to hit, then that's all that matters. Reps are often disconnected from the goal of the company and more in focus with making money. It's looked at as a summer job, so accountability is low. --No benefits --Very, very little advancement (if any)
