Great compensation and benefits, but corporate culture drains energy

- Compensation is fair - PTO is great (25 days + floating holiday) - Parental leave is stellar (16+ weeks) - Almost everyone I've met is competent, helpful, and friendly - My immediate team is excellent

Cons

- The bottom line is the primary focus of every department/company meeting - It often feels like a soul-sucking corporate job - Much effort is given to compliance/governance - Major reshuffling among senior VP level happens fairly often which causes large shifts in processes/priorities and that is draining

BCBS Health Insurance. HSA account. Friendly colleagues for the most part. Lots of PTO days. Decent total comp package.

Cons

High chance of stress and poor work life balance in the following roles: Category Managers, Contract Managers, Portfolio Executives (experience was shared by colleagues in these roles). Seeing a lot of people leave the company. Didn't hear of lay offs so the departures were probably voluntary. Company mostly hiring because many people leave the company so career opportunity is good if you want to role the dice. Decent amount of benefits, but hard to use them when you are always working long hours to stay afloat.

Cons

New tech leadership is giving timelines and undue pressure and manipulation that is forcing employees to work way too many Long hours, There is absolutely zero work life balance in most tech teams
