Great potential but the opportunity has passed for Voicebox.

Pros

. A talented and nice engineering team . Flexible work style . Voice application technology is a good place to be right now

Cons

. Company has passed on too many funding opportunities and is under resourced at a time when market opportunity exists . Never developed its IP and now is left to compete with the likes of Apple, Google, etc. . No revenue model after 8 years . Company is dominated by three founding brothers who lack very basic leadership skills . No strategic focus whatsoever

Pros

The people were the Pro at this organization but after a big layoff and others leaving that is getting smaller. They do offer some good benefits, but they are slowly dwindling.

Cons

Upper management doesn't respect or appreciate the staff. Decision making takes too long and is unorganized. Nepotism is high in the company.

Work life balance is good. Lots of opportunities to learn. Small team environment.

Cons

The financial situation is not very stable. Company somehow overspent and had to find ways to cut expense. Eventually, they lost a big customer and had to resort to a big layoff.
