Pros
I work at a Panda Express inside the Vons store. My job category is listed under "Uniform Employee." Vons is my employer and pays my checks but I only do Panda Express work. The plus side of this is that the hours are usually better.
Cons
The union!!! The benefits of the Union here in California outweigh the benefits. I have no choice but to pay weekly union dues. Vons deducts the amount from my check and I have no say in it. Workers like me, "Uniform Employees" get lower pay and fewer raises. And of course the worse part of my job is not the management or the hours, it is the customers. But this is retail so that is expected.
