      Expecting More than they ever pay for

      Pros

      good benefits, good people, quality products to use to create cakes, breads, etc.

      Cons

      Made to feel terrible about not being able to complete 4 peoples jobs in my allotted shift time. Constant turn around of bakers and other employees. NO holidays off in the bakery ever. Time off requests are generally laughed at. Several days I got called in at 3am because the baker never showed up, then baked all morning, then had to decorate all the orders for the day, then create all the cakes etc for the cases and help the customers at the same time, and was expected to handle this with calm and quick efficiency.

      Learned valuable life lessons and learned how to cook, chop fruits and vegetables.

      Cons

      Horrible management, constant schedule changes/no consistency, if they didn’t like you then you were a target, not flexible or fair at all, very by the book when new management came in, expected you to do other people’s jobs and finish by the time you got off, they don’t care about their employees, constant harrassment and bullying, got sexually harassed and nothing was done about it, cut hours constantly in order to “save money,” yet management and some other people got full time, the list goes on, you get talked down to and treated like a toddler if you don’t abide by the rules, no training skills, under constant stress and get headaches constantly. The list goes on
