Communication is poor, what’s said and what is actually done doesn’t match, favoritism is a all time high, how trucks are ran waste more time than actually saves time and fuel. Only certain drivers are held to “standard “ while others get away with things what would get another employee suspended or fired. Very disappointed overall, genuinely want the company to be successful because in return we all will be successful. But doesn’t seem to be the right fit for me and several of my fellow coworkers.

Negative company culture. The culture encourages people to point fingers when mistakes are made, pass the buck, and put profits over people Poor management. Micromanage and don't do the work to allow their employees to be successful at the job. It starts at the very top and the negative effects seep all the way to the quarry level. If it's broke, apologize but never fix the problem Vulcan markets itself as an industry leader so they rush to make changes with no preparation, leaving employees and customers frustrated.
