Pros

-Good Location - Good parking - Great coffee machine - Great company to get a foot in the door and learn the ropes of electronics brokering but not a good long term career.

Cons

- Extremely hostile management structure for new employees. Revolving door mindset with high turnover. - Little to zero room for advancement - Unqualified managers, they will expect exceptional performance with little to no post training - Unrealistic sales expectations - Top down structure allows for sweeping policy changes without consent, including commission tier structure changing daily/monthly. - Extreme favoritism of long term employees - Large portion of the company was outsourced to India without consulting the American sales team - Very little communication between departments despite urgency. - Benefits/Insurance are the bare minimum with no 401K - Sales team is W-2 and 10-99 leading to complicated tax returns

Pros

+ All the tools/training are provided to those looking to grow with the company. Interest in a new role, cross training is possible. + Transparency + Team Atmosphere. Executive team members are in the trenches with their groups - literally every department. From the CEO to the Finance and Shipping Managers - they are out with their respective teams helping and balancing their own workload. Pretty rare. I came (and went back to ultimately due to relocation) large companies where high level executives come in, sit in an office removed from what is really occurring in the company, and leave at 3p. That is when I was not walking into the break room to hear them talk jubilantly about their extravagant weekends as I pounded back cups of coffee and schlepped back to my desk to review thousands of rows of financial documents, cursing. So when I moved from that managerial position to one with Vyrian, it was nice to have support from everyone, no matter titling. + Changes are constant. Which sounds awful if your mindset is from a large corp but it is actually refreshing. You identify a problem or provide a resolution, and things are implemented fairly promptly. They are listening to their team members, and making changes where necessary, no red tape. So I enjoyed that aspect of the company. +Work Life Balance (overused in a lot of companies but actually existed here. I miss that) + Breadth of exposure. Came in as an Admin for Operations and moved into one other role before a Directorial position in like 2-3 years. + Good Pay, Awards, Contests for prizes/bonuses and Social Events through out the year + PTO Plan is nice, you start earning right away instead of after 90 days like some companies - you also get your birthday off or as an extra PTO day to use (within the month) + Health Insurance and 401k plan pretty standard there + Fun and supportive culture - true commitment to your success + Opportunity for travel in some positions (mine) - US and International

Cons

- There is some work to be done with international clients in some roles (mine) so this sometimes requires you to connect with a client in a different time zone for big projects. Not really a con whatsoever, but for those that can't inspire themselves to wake for a moment to respond to a client in Italy on a big project, I would stop showing interest here.
