Lots to learn: -Firmware -ASIC Design -Digital Signal processing -Electricity and magnetism -Control systems -Aero engineering -Mechanical engineering -Materials engineering -Data management and flow WD is a great place for new grads to get exposure to the dynamics of a global giant. The theory behind hard drive engineering is extremely interesting.

Cons

-Long work hours -90% of projects get canceled -aggressive deadlines -depressing environment -terrible bonuses (very small amount) -raises are not given often -WD is stingy
