This is not a company you want to join if you want a career. If you are looking for something short term to get a couple years of experience, then it might be ok. There is no consistency or planning. Everything is done on a whim or on the emotions of an unstable leadership. The “leadership” does not communicate very well, if at all, and when they do, they talk out of both sides of their mouth. There is no transparency and most of the time one area of the company has no idea what the other is doing. There is no sense of loyalty and you will be constantly told that everyone is replaceable. They will sell you a bill of goods on an awesome culture, but when they are told that culture and morale has tanked they act like they don’t understand why or how. They treat everyone like they should be happy they just have a job. People below the manager level seem to know what is going on (or as much as leadership will allow them to know), but they are usually so overworked that they don’t have time to mentor or manage the people under them.
They have had RIFs for the last 4 years right before the holidays, and then they do not discuss it with the remaining employees. They also hire and promote people during these RIFs. This place is horribly dysfunctional and it is from the top down. No organization, no one is held accountable, and people who have absolutely no experience doing things get put into positions they have no business being in. You get promoted based on popularity, your best friend being your manager, or being a jerk to the people who work under you, it is not based on your work ethic or work produced.
