Pros

WD overall culture is very good. HRs are proactive. Wfh for current situation.

Cons

Lower management (atleast for the unit I'm part of) is not so great. Not much entitlement given to Engineers. Not much appreciations being done.

Decent Firm

Pros

Honorable company, with a neat and organized work environment facilities and welfare, as expected from a company this size. No monkey business here.

Cons

Management is frequently opaque, with actions taken having often little to do with employees' feedback. Basic compensation is below average. There are bonuses (AKA short-term incentives), but no guarantees you'll get them, so you can eventually find yourself with hardly anything beyond a below-average compensation. Professionally, I found the work to be insipid, having little to no potential for personal advancement.
