WD as a large company (100,000 empolyee) is effective. The top management team (CEO, COO...) is lean and good at marketing. WD gives decent bonus to engineers and technicians (15%-25% of your salary). On the contrary, in lots of other large companies, all the money goes to managers.

People are kind, easy to get along. very good work life balance, the benefits are good as well. Good work environment as well.
