      Western Digital used to be a decent place to work, but over the last few years the culture has become toxic and demoralizing. Frequent leadership changes and reorganizations have created constant chaos, with priorities and reporting lines shifting every few months. Senior leaders openly practice nepotism, hiring and promoting friends while sidelining experienced contributors, which destroys trust and fairness.
