Micromanaging at its finest.

Pros

Financially stable company, compensation has been relatively fair, nice fitness facilities, and decent work-life balance as long as you fight to maintain it.

Cons

Previously a relatively positive work environment and I enjoyed the overall culture and camaraderie amongst coworkers. Unfortunately, in recent times (i.e. since merging) it's become a toxic environment, insanely political (favoritism/nepotism is rampant), and micromanaging is at an all-time high. This ultimately bars individuals from making decisions autonomously and inhibits them from actually carrying out tasks/activities in a timely manner as there are constant blocks from management. The list of flaws is a long one, which is unfortunate. Ultimately , the cons outweigh the pros...

Pros

Comparative Technology Vide spectrum of storage patents Board is strong

Cons

Very bad mid to lower level management In-necessary politics and clear direction In-experienced mid to lower level management in identifying employees talent and setting goals Not following performance goals and mid to lower management has zero clarity Pure decisions by mid to lower level Letting go highly talented employees or make inconvenience to higher talented people and letting them choose to leave (kind of forcing)
