      Pros

      Talented group of engineers to work with. Cutting edge technologies and products. Good vacation policy.

      Cons

      Management is really lacks management skills. Compensation is terribly below market and is the biggest obstacle to bringing out true talent among the engineers. Motivation can be improved upon

      Pros

      1. You may acquire good experience and knowledge in production FAB and R&D in process development; 2. Good ESPP, bonus is OK; 3. Good people to work with; 4. Probably still a good company for investment within 2 years. 5. Cost reduction is always #1 priority.

      Cons

      1. Company's culture - CHEAP. 2. Lack of creativity. The company copy almost every generation of head from Headway or Seagate; and the company names it as its own business model. 3. Hard disk drive industry is almost close to its end of life (5-10 years more?). 4. Worst benefit plan as per as I know in so many companies in bay area. 5. Promotion is very difficult. 6. The chance of salary increase is low, actually your salary is decrease every year because of inflation. 7. Cost reduction is always #1 priority.
