Pros

I have nothing positive or pros to say about this company thanks to bad management

Cons

Employees are forced to work additional days. Instead of the scheduled 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts per week, you’ll be working 4 or 5 shifts. There are ZERO opportunities for advancement, and management frequently lies. If you become ill and call in sick, they will question you and force you to explain your symptoms. If they deem your illness insufficiently serious, they will ask you to come in and work half a shift. Micromanagement is rampant, and the way they monitor employees is excessive. You are treated as just a number. They also require you to clock out and in for your 10-minute breaks, making it nearly impossible to reach the restrooms, which are far from the clean room. The hourly rate is extremely low, and management boasts about the company Western Digital making billions while employees receive minimal pay. It is highly advisable to stay away from this company due to their unprofessional management practices.

Pros

- interesting and very intelligent coworkers - interesting projects - Great Oaks campus location is nice - you might get your own private office - decent work/life balance - hybrid (Tues/Fri wfh) - sometimes there's free bagels

Cons

- Way too much politics. Too many massive egos butting heads instead of solving actual problems. Older engineers often steamroll junior engineers, talking over them and even taking credit for their work. - Compensation is abysmal, and as a result, attrition and morale are also bad. I recently discovered I was paid way less than some junior engineers I trained, which was fun. There were no raises this year. Oh and they took away our on-site health clinic. - Too much middle management bloat, which makes getting things done somewhat difficult. - CEO is completely out of touch and makes bad decisions. - Micromanaging and too many pointless meetings.

Pros

Good benefits and pay if okay. There is good compensation for beginner engineers

Cons

They will over work you to the bone, if you are on the client side you will see why everyone there is either really young or really old. It is a company not everyone wants to stay at. They will over work you, there is no documentation yet they expect you to make new code within 6 months. Some of the managers are nice but the rest are so toxic I might as well have worked for Elon Musk.
