      Pros

      As an intern, they give you a pretty good overview of the company including all the different departments. I interned at Peoples Gas and got the chance to learn about 3 different departments of my choice and also got the opportunity to visit the Shops and study the field operations which gave me a pretty well rounded view of the company.

      Some of the employees I interacted with didn't come off as very motivated or happy with their jobs

      Very low employee value, there is no work/life balance, the almighty dollar is the only thing that matters to these people, health insurance is basically non-existent as it is only for catastrophic injuries, plan on being tired and frustrated every night when you go home

      Pros

      My coworkers are great. The industry and this company is very stable. They also offer decent salary. I have met some great people working here.

      Cons

      Upper management does not value good, hardworking employees. I have seen employees who are no where near qualified get moved up into management roles just because they have buddies or family working here. I have also seen jobs given out that were never posted so everyone can have a fair chance at applying. I think the salary ranges are okay, could be higher based on the market. There are a lot of employees in upper management who look down on the different departments and treat them very poorly.
