What an unfortunate experience with WGI. I’d like to speak with you if you’re willing to contact me. I suspect we never had the opportunity to discuss any of your concerns, and communication has to be a two-way street. While we would agree that there are “good people in Texas,” I would also suggest that there are also 500 “good people” that work for WGI in FL, CO, IN, IL, MI, NC, GA, and WI. Perhaps with broader exposure to our team, you would have enjoyed a different WGI experience. I can assure you that we are far from “Old Fashioned, Conservative, Controlling, Tone-Deaf, and Talk, but No Action.” In fact, if you’ll arrange for a video call with me, I’d be delighted to record our conversation and share it with everyone at WGI so that the entire team can listen, learn and benefit from the experience, and we’ll make any valid change that materializes as a result of this discussion.

Your opinions are very valuable. One of the reasons WGI has instituted quarterly performance reviews is to recognize mutual goals and achievements. If you are not setting a career path with your supervisor that meets your objectives, please let HR know. Collectively, we’d like the opportunity to reset expectations and your goals at WGI.
