Pros

Opportunity for career advancement and many options in various roles. Coworkers are very helpful and many longtime employees. Ability to manage my day and control how I choose to work with my customers. Great environment with a manager who listens; genuinely shows she cares and is responsive.

Cons

It seems decisions arent made without constant corporate or market area approval.

You get wrote up for voicing your opinion to management. Management plays favorites. Other sites get the new trucks ment for your site.

Pros

There are some very smart, hard working people in my department. Management seems to understand the necessities of software development. Upper management (WM corporate) has a clear vision for the future. The IT work environment is professional without being bogged down in unnecessary process or paperwork. New software projects use modern technology. Scrum.

Cons

New employee training is underdeveloped Some knowledge is concentrated in a few overworked employees. WM has been very conservative with merit-based raises since they bought Oakleaf.
