Pros
Coworkers within the department and interaction between departments nice and friendly. Their focus of being involved in the communities in their footprint. They try to be more flexible with addressing customer needs than the bigger banks. There are a lot hardworking folks that have been with bank for years (good and bad as culture is a bit stagnant, male (and white) dominated, aging workforce, technology is dated)
Cons
See my last sentence above. There is racial and gender diversity at lower levels. With recent hiring within management I feel they are trying to address at higher levels, but women are vastly under represented in the levels of management. Technology for their associates is the biggest con. Things are much more cumbersome and manual than they need to be. Night and day between them and the firm I work for now.
