Business Outlook
Pros
Great coworkers with a flexible work schedule. Able to work remotely. Upper management was working towards improving retention and starting to give higher raises to reach compensation more in line with the industry averages.
Cons
Little to no structure for career growth. Promotions and pay raises felt arbitrary to my performance - more so just a product of whatever the forecasted workload could support, which makes sense but is not rewarding of hard work. Even when a raise was given, it was underwhelming. Also a poor work-life balance with high rates of burnout and low retention. Classic situation of running understaffed and overworked in order to maximize shareholder profits.
