Pros

Friendly people, large organisation so diverse, some international opportunities

Cons

As you climb, easy to get pigeonholed. Merger was a takeover so legacy Willis side have less opportunities to move around the organisation or career opportunity unless on the senior sales side where it is just a case of driving revenue and getting paid accordingly. Lots of politics

Pros

One of UK's biggest actuarial consultancy. Great client base for exposures. Great people to learn from. Work structured so that you get to mix with different teams on different projects.

Cons

Decreasing focus on longer term development of employees. Opaque process for distributing work and projects. Other typical problems of large organisations.
