Pros

Most people director level and below, work hard. They put their blood, sweat and tears into the place. WWE is a machine. They churn out work and produce faster than any other organization I've ever encountered. Other organizations are always impressed if you have worked there, especially if you can last more than 5 years. It is known for a fast paced environment and if you can keep up and be a yes man without having an alternate opinion you will succeed.

Cons

It is not a 9-5 job. It is a live event company that is ridiculously political. Upper management is phony and only care about themselves. Most of the company is a boys club. You can give your life to the place, work long hours, do work on the wkend and there is no respect for those that are hard working and loyal. You will never be allowed to work from home, and are forced to come in on terrible snow days to show face. You have to be ruthless, phony, and political to succeed. If you want to be happy go elsewhere.

Pros

Great passion for the business and generally smart people across the departments. I know some of the reviews on here bash specific people or departments (CFO, Head of Revenue, Head of HR etc) but I find them all to be very strong and frankly, better than the company deserves. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Culture is shockingly bad-- especially within the leadership ranks. Most of the issues hidden from the Chairman.

Pros

Really depends on your department, but I work with talented people. WWE is generous with free live event tickets, they have above average benefits, and the brand name is very conducive to getting business done when dealing with outside world. Potential for lots of travel, depending on department. Like anyplace sometimes deadlines get hectic, but I'm still able to see my family & not have to work constant 60-80 hour work weeks. Many have said otherwise, but every department is different.

Cons

Old equipment & ideas, they are 10 years behind on everything, very slow to get promoted, run like a bad mom & pop operation for how big they are, people don't feel taken care of, very much a "this is how we've always done it" mentality, low morale amongst most departments from what I see. A lot of people are very miserable & just going through the motions. The buck starts and stops with one man, Vince McMahon. There are 5-6 other people that have varying degrees of actual power in the company. Things simply don't get done until the absolute last second, because Vince and a few others have to sign off on EVERYTHING, but have very little time to do it. Not smart or efficient business at all. Majorly bloated, incompetent senior management. Don't ever expect to get an answer from anyone that has a title of EVP, SVP, or VP, as they are all paralyzed with fear to make any real decisions so they can continue to be yes-men and collect their paycheck. Once they clear out most of the people that have been there 20+ years, this place can really be innovative. There are some very talented people there that are stuck in the mud, waiting their turn, & should be running their department. They have also lost a lot of talent due to incompetent management. The machine has become so big it kind of runs itself, so their bonehead business decisions haven't completely ruined the company... yet.
