Pros

- Globally recognizable media brand, small company with massive brand and footprint that creates opportunities to be involved in many interesting opportunities and aspects of the media industry - Unique content tied to a powerful subculture and passionate fan base - Dedicated colleagues

Cons

- Always on -- There are three weekly live shows and one monthly "PPV," so there is no downtime. This is felt most acutely among roles that are directly involved with the creative and production of shows, but it permeates the whole culture. To be successful at WWE, you must be "All in" (this could be a pro, since it means you work with a very passionate and engaged group, although their energy is often misdirected -- see points below) - Extremely poor management culture -- the Family has created a culture where mid/senior level staff spend the majority of time and effort managing up and "CYA" rather than focusing on the work - General culture of suspicion / lack of trust in employees -- For example, when employees were put on temporary furlough during the pandemic, all system access was cut off and they were notified via Text that they had been furloughed. There was a clear assumption that furloughed employees (who were going to return as employees!) would try to steal or otherwise damage the company if allowed access to systems. - There is no career development. Advancement is based on tenure, until one Sr. Dir/VP level, at which point promotion and tenure are determined solely by one's navigation of company politics

Pros

Pays well, fast pace environment, cool atmosphere, especially if you are a fan of wrestling

Cons

Extremely expensive area of the country to live. Sometimes, over demanding. Management can be a lot better.

Pros

Great benefits, 401k, nice perks,

Cons

Where can I start, WWE's management is all over the place. Regarding the Network side of things the people running the company do not fully understand how each department works. Communication between departments is all over the place. There is no clear direction when it comes to the network. Nick Kahn who just became President and CFO is very cut throat. At the end of the day it's all about the money and where they can cut to save. You can get let go at the drop of a hat. It does not matter how long you've been there, or your loyalty to the company. They pretend to be ahead of the curve when it comes to the network, but in reality they are very out of touch with how Television networks work. There is no actual structure. Kind of sad.
