Outdated systems

Pros

Manager and colleagues are supportive and great to work with. No sales goals at this time or pressure to sale, but that looks like that’s changing soon.

Cons

Wafd is behind in technology. It takes many steps to open accounts, perform maintenance on accounts and their systems are slow. There’s always issues with the system crashing. We had better systems for account opening and maintenance 10 years ago when I worked at a larger bank. Training is not great, but has made improvements. The pay is low for industry standards. Starting pay at other mid size banks pay more.
