Pros
Lots of PM Experience and beyond. As a PM you will be responsible for every small detail of the project including quoting & negotiating with the customer, creating SOW's, designing the work, finding and managing the resources, managing the financials, billing, rental equipment, project closeout, and more.
Cons
The work load is high stress and not very organized. Internal systems are redundant and not efficient. There is little support to shoulder your work load. You are expected to be on call 24/7 as needed. Career opportunities are very limited.
