Some of the employees and customers are wonderful.

Cons

A guy that's been with the company less than a year and still doesn't know anything about the company, but lives next door to the AVP gets promoted over women, some of whom om have degrees and have 20 years experience. You work 6 days, then off 2. When you're on your 6 day rotation, you are expected to be available to 24/7. Even for the silliest of things. You have to call and get sales at 9 pm and report them. Oh and cover shifts at 9 pm when people don't show up. There is no work life balance. This place dictates your entire life. You have children w jobs as employees, not adults with careers. Just horrible.

Some of my coworkers became family to me, as well as some of the regulars. As tips are based on performance, and you do keep all of them, it is possible to make a very nice living wage. But that can also depend on how busy your store is.

Cons

The “first shift serving crew” at the store I worked at, would bully new people off of the shift- as 30-70 year old women. Management didn’t do anything about it & some were a part of it at times. I also dealt with A LOT of extremely inappropriate comments from men on night shift, and management would mostly act like that didn’t concern them. This is how they handled a lot of workplace issues. I also had one of the district managers share my personal information when I left, and that was only one of many extremely unprofessional & unpleasant encounters with said manager.
