I love my job

Pros

Great environment. I love meeting new people, interacting with guests and building a strong team. I love the fast paced environment and making great food.

Cons

It can be challenging working 10 hour shifts on your feet on a tile floor. It can be exhausting. There will always be some sort of drama in a restaurant setting. There are no performance based raises but there are production bonuses for grill operators which are based on total shift sales. This can add up quickly. Moving up past 3rd Shift Supervisor can be difficult but if you prove yourself to be a valuable asset, it can be done.

Pros

Decent money if you are a server

Cons

Some people are with the company over 15 years. They will let them run the store on management days off and vacation but won't promote from within
