The Wake Forest community offers a collegial and collaborative environment to work, with smart, dedicated and hard-working people. Because so many employees are Wake Forest alumni or have lived in Winston-Salem for many years, they embrace and embody the mission of the university and are very invested in its success.
Cons
Because so many employees are Wake Forest alumni or have lived in Winston-Salem for many years, there's a lack of experience with the academic world beyond Wake. It can be challenging for someone who has worked at another institution to acclimate, although not impossible.
