Pros

I loved helping the customers and learning about the different medications and medical conditions. The hours were not bad either.

Cons

As with any retail pharmacy, you will get screamed at and called names. It really depends on how busy of a Walgreens you work at for what kind of experience you will have. I worked at a small one without a drive-thru and I loved it, but I hated subbing at very busy stores where I stood at the drive-thru the entire time.

Pros

The pay isn't too too horrible for what you do.VERY appreciative of the sick time and vac and the benifits are"Ok". Most of the employees and some management are awesome to work with

Cons

You are stuck doing someone else's job ALL the time and the person who WAS suppose to do it never gets yelled at MANY employees sit in the office or break room for 2-3 hours a day...walk around on their phones buy like me for example,NEVER take breaks but get bitched out cause I didn't get 20% redzone Customers are sooooo rude There is wayyyy too much dissrespect and talking behind eachothers back

Pros

In my experience the assistant managers and executive assistant managers are usually pretty cool you will of course get the bad eggs.

Cons

Store managers are usually very lazy or hard and think work is the only thing in your life. Co workers are generally pretty lazy. No support from corporate, at all. The customer is always right. Even if they physically harm you and yes I have seen it. No where near enough store hours especially in the pharmacy. Nothing like being the only manager on duty and having to catch calls in 3 different departments all while corporate is saying "deal with it." Corporate hides there numbers, of course profit is up you have cut over a thousand hours in my district alone.
