Pros

Very strong balance sheet. Great compensation and benefits. Promotes excellent customer service. Feel valued as an employee. Respected by management.

Cons

Lack training overall- written documentation/materials (although it's currently being worked on), as well as personal one-on-one training (don't take the time, or have the time to train new staff)

Pros

great stock options and job stability

Cons

walgreens is not what it used to be. they are very overly budget sensitive which in turn leads to less salary increases for techs, less hours for techs, and less money to hire techs, which lead to shortages in staff and ultimately affects our patients. Patients are pissed because there aren't enough workers to supply medication on time and and correctly. Worker morale is usually in the dumps at the very busy stores. I work at a store that is normally in the top 2 in district for sales.
