Pros

I started working at Walgreens as a technician while completing my undergraduate degree before pharmacy school. The company treats its technicians okay but has great opprotunities for pharmacists, which I plan on taking full advantage of.

Cons

The biggest downside of working for Walgreens is the constant cutting of technician hours. Managment expects us to do extra work while constantly cutting our hours based solely on script count.

Pros

benefits are given to managers fairly quickly after being hired and vacation is given right away with time off whenever you need it, but you won't be able to take it because its so time consuming working there.

Cons

weekends, holidays major and minor ones, nights, maybe overnights they always want you at work and you get to do a ton of work and never get a thank you
