Pros

Great management and opportunities for growth. Very structured environment and all levels are held accountable. Funny place to work while in school!

Cons

There aren't very many negatives that I can think of. It does suck to have to work on holidays, but it is a pharmacy so it is expected! You are compensated for working on holidays!

Pros

The salary was good for a retail position

Cons

Long hours, expensive benefits, no work life balance, unrealistic job preview, micromanagement in most stores I was at, everything run by corporate even if it won't work in the store you're in. I worked 50+ hours a week and during the holidays we were required to work 6 days a week and usually 60+ hours. If you had to leave early to pick up your sick kid or you had an appointment, you had to make up your time even though you already had put in 50 hours. Upon hire, they told me that Wagreens is expanding rapidly and that I will have my own store within 2 years. That never happened. It's all about favorites there.
