Too many MBAs, not enough RPhs

Pros

Good support from direct supervisors. Decent vacation allowances and good working hours/shift lengths. I've never felt I needed to "take work home with me"

Cons

Once Jeff Rein left, the business shifted from one that was run by pharmacists and understood the idiosyncrasies of running a pharmacy to one that was micromanaged by people unfamiliar with the pharmacy world. As a pharmacist, I often feel like I'm wasting my degree by being forced to "doctor detail" and other projects that hurt the reputation of the pharmacist.

Pros

benefits are great. Senior management very well educated and informed and easy to talk to, I miss it terrible

Cons

Not alot of room for advancement as their growth has slowed due to the economy. They downsized their management and gave same amount of work as three people used to do, now given to one perhaps two salaried employments
