Pros

You get to help people and learn a good deal about over the counter medicine. You generally get a very good deal on your personal prescriptions.

Cons

The company used to take good care of their employees. Now it seems they are doing their best to take money from employee benefits and give it to the shareholders. All once valuable employee befits and programs are rapidly being phased out, job titles are being changed with no reduction in responsibilities but with a reduction in pay, and the 401k has been drastically slashed. The stock price keeps going up seemingly directly proportionate to the loss of their employees.

Pros

Not responsible for OTC section. Store management trained as technicians can be helpful.

Cons

Not enough trained technicians. Vacations request for a full week are due in October for the following year. The top choices are calculated based on number of requests and seniority. It's difficult to plan.
