Pros

a very fair place to work, good benefits package, stable company, very customer driven. forward looking into expanding health care with mail order, home health, and on site walk in clinics

Cons

upper upper management sometimes seems a little out of touch with reality ie work load vs hours budgeted and seemingly nonencensical daily reports

Pros

Walgreens provided great training and a relaxed atmosphere to work in. Management pay was very reasonable for a starting position compared to similar companies.

Cons

I found a lot of times you where too understaffed too meet the demands or requirements of your store manager.

Pros

The pay was competitive and I enjoyed working with my co-workers.

Cons

You are required to work holidays and it is difficult to get any days off at all. Also, they made me drive an hour to work when there were 3 Walgreen's on the way to my store. Last, many times the manager put her job on me in addition to my responsibilities as the assistant manager.
