Pros

Fair work/life balance, flexible scheduling depending on job position and time of year. Opportunity for advancement and free college education. If you have no completed college experience, full and part-time employees qualify for a free bachelors degree and range of certificates. Range of education is fair (Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply chain management) and a few other industry-relevant degrees as well. You begin to accrue PTO and Paid Protected Time off from the first day of work. Paid Protected Time off cannot be revoked by management, it is meant to allow you to take care of family or be present in an emergency if need be, this is one of my favorite benefits of working for Walmart. If you apply yourself, and communicate with management that you want to advance they pay attention and like to promote from within.

Cons

High turnover rate in certain areas of the store, this is a common problem in OGP. Communication is subpar between different areas of the store. Different positions are frequently eliminated and workload is passed onto remaining positions without further financial compensation.
