Pros

You get to work in the back so not too much time is spend with customers or on the sales floor. Very good position for someone with social anxiety.

Cons

Everything you can think of. Management always blames cap2 for everything. Literally everything. 2pm-11pm (1pm-10pm for some stores) working hours gets old really fast. Physically hard work on some days. Exhausting. Very understaffed.

Awful Manager

Pros

Good pay and nice hours.

Cons

Terrible Managers, they would constantly be timing or complaining at all employees. I’d often be sent to push carts or do other jobs that weren’t cap2.

Pros

(Company Incentives) *If you make it through your first 90 days your allotted number of absences allowed goes up to 9. * At the 6 month mark you become eligible for profit sharing. Which is based on the stores profits; the company stock price; and surveys filed by customers. * At six months you start accumulating payed time off (PTO) at a rate of 1 hour PTO for every 10 hours worked. At the end of the fiscal year you are allowed to carry over 80 hours PTO and any amount over that is paid out in your paycheck. * Six months you become eligible for transfer or promotion. * twelve months the PTO rate of accumulation increases by 25% (happens yearly for the first 3 years.)

Cons

[Berlin Walmart specific issues NOT a company overview] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Management seemed to like to guilt trip associates for calling out and for using PTO. * Company favors profits over saftey. ie: no emergency stop/brakes on Power Lifting Equipment, hand jacks did not have working handbrakes (unchanged in 3.5 years . * You will be asked/ ordered to unload trucks using inadequate equipment. * you are expected to fill in for your mannager in there absence but when you are on break they let the work orders pile up then threaten to write you up because they were not done. *Will file inaccurate reason for termination and fight you on Unemployment.
