Pros

Walmart provides competitive pay and has been an excellent employer for me over the last 27 years. I have been provided great opportunities to grow my career and self over the years.

Cons

Walmart tends to lose its way from time to time. Constant changes in the retail environment creates reactive behavior versus being more strategic about the long term goals of the organization.

Pros

Every shift goes by fast as long as you stay busy and there's ALWAYS stuff to stay busy with. Two 15 breaks, 1 hour lunch. Pays more than any other entry level retail positions in my city + annual performance based raises. If you're a good worker, you won't have to worry about getting hours cut ever. Very lax with attendance

Cons

Very difficult to get time off approved Favoritism Co worker gossip/drama Day shift workers are annoying
