Pros

One of the best things about Wal-Mart is respect for the individual. This golden sentence alone is the very reason I can see myself working for this company for many more years.

Cons

The downside would probably be the facility, sometimes it can be very depressing to arrive before the sun goes up and get out of work by the time it goes back down.

Pros

Upward mobility (as long as you can deal with the company long enough) Pay is generally competitive Bonuses for even part-time employees

Cons

Management is a mix bag, some good, some bad and some horrible (was insinuated by a manager that I lied about the death of my Grandfather to get out of a week of work) Exorbitant amount of managers at stores, many times leaving the associates to decide which task from which manager to do and which to put off temporarily Policy ties hands of associates in many cases
