Pros

The job is not hard by any means, and they are somewhat flexible with your need to be off on certain times.

Cons

The things that you have to endure like snotty customers on a regular basis can beat you down emotionally if you allow it to. You really need to be thick skinned to work at Wal-Mart because you have to tolerate quite a bit of nonsense very frequently. There is also the fact that you must be on your feet all the time, which could be hard on some people if you are not used to it.

Pros

I found first hand that corporate & regional level management have a professional work ethics. For the size of the corporation I felt that they were no different then any other company. For a part time worker they would be idyllic, and the benefits are very good.

Cons

I found that in almost all cases, store level management is unprofessional and some cases are just deceitful. Ethically, there were numerous occasions were my thoughts went from sinful to almost bordering criminal, when watching store management handling of associates.
