Pros

1. Pay is okay and check usually comes on time; Better source of stable extra income compared to gig jobs. 2. Good for those still on high school or college and wants to earn 3. Work itself is easy to learn, most processes are automated and repetitive 4. Decent benefits for a minimum wage job (medical, dental, vision, 401k, 10% employee discount, stock options, etc.) 5. Co-workers, team leads, and coaches are helpful and empathetic 6. Pretty flexible on their scheduling (some workaround w/ them on time availability) 7. Career advancement is also open (tuition assistance, annual increase, even open for promotion as team lead)

Cons

1. May have to deal with frustrating customers; we get most of the cussing on things beyond our control (which includes other dept's screw-ups) 2. Too much standing in every shift; need to walk around 3. Daily workload is very dependent on customer traffic (more customers, more busy, v.v.) 4. Hours could be cut-off on post-holidays for cost savings 5. Work phones issued are sluggish and trash, normal registers are outdated, and self-checkouts could get glitchy 6. Store could use some more frequent deep-clean 7. Messy scheduling + understaff = nightmare PS: F(iretr)uck Alice Walton
