Pros

Great 401K plan. Stable job and company. Plenty of room for growth.

Cons

Pay isn't great. Work alot of extra days. Promote 4 day schedule, but actually 5 days, 13-15 hours a day.

Pros

Hourly employees are treated well and the pay usually matches the skill level. The stress level for hourly employees is relatively low and the company treats them well for fear of drawing in any union activity.

Cons

Salaried members of management do not have the same advantages/protections as hourly employees. WakMart will hurt your soul. It was the worst employment experience I ever had. Most hourly employees dare not tread into salaried management positions because they witness fiest hand how salaried managersare treated. If you are recruited from the corporation, beware. most people leave within 12 months.
