Pros

Ware Malcomb has a great, inclusive, fun, and diverse work environment. Things move quickly and as an intern you still feel as if you have real responsibility within the company.

Cons

A lot of the work done was site planning, which could get tedious. However it was definitely good experience.

Efficient Company, Great People, Boring Projects

Pros

Ware Malcomb was a great company to work for. Office culture (in the local office) was great when I was there. It is a top 50 Architecture Firm in terms of revenue, and other firms/headhunters will seek you out if you are employed with a company like this. I felt like the company was a great stepping stone to get me to a position I really wanted to be in (with another company)

Cons

The project types definitely left something to be desired and if your job title did not have "designer" in it, then you will either be a technical person or an administrative person. They are big about efficiency and the bottom line, and admit that they run very lean, which can make for some more dramatic turns for the employees depending on how business is doing. The project types are light on design and technical aspects, and heavy on administration and dealing with agencies, which is not what I wanted out of my career. Working with other offices was also a challenge and power trips were common between PM's from different offices.
